Shkodra Elektronike is the musical project of two Albanians who emigrated to Italy in the early 90s: musician/producer Kolb Laca (former Teatro degli Orrori) and singer/songwriter Beatri Gjergji.
The project began in 2019 with the aim of bringing the traditional songs and sounds of their hometown Shkodra into a contemporary context.
Over the years they have performed in major European cities and at leading
festivals on the global ethno-alternative scene, including Paleo Festival
(Geneva), BALKAN:MOST Festival (Veszprem), PIN
Music Conference (Sofia), and SoAlive (Vienna), as well as contemporary art
events connected to Albanian and Kosovar culture, such as the Venice
Biennale, Autostrada Biennale in Prizren, and exhibitions by Adrian Paci in
Milan, Athens, and Tirana.
In 2025, they placed 8th at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel.
This year, they are on their European Tour with stops in Germany: Berlin, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart; Austria: Vienna.
