Igor Klokov has distinguished himself with numerous first prizes at prestigious international competitions, including those held in Coria, Seville, Lagoa, Koblenz and Belgrade. Among his most notable achievements are top awards at the internationally renowned Pittaluga Competition in Alessandria and the Andrés Segovia International Guitar Competition.

He has toured extensively throughout Europe, as well as in the United States and Brazil. His performances have been broadcast on major radio stations, including SWR in Germany, Czech Radio in Prague and Deutschlandfunk. His debut album, HOMMAGE (2020), released by AureaVox, features works by Rodrigo, Giuliani, and Bach. His second album, IMPERMANENCE (2025), was released by Contrastes Records. In August 2026, he will begin his Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
